Jasbg, One more very important Vitamin on my list...
Vitamin K2 Mk-7...This is very hard to get from foods
as it is found in liver/organ meats and fermented products
such as sourkraut and Natto (A fermented soybean from Japan.)

What Vitamin K2 Mk-7 does is takes out calcium from soft tissue
and deposits it into our bones and teeth where it is beneficial.
Recently, it was found that this Vitamin may play a key role in
helping people avoid dementia. For myself I have noticed my
teeth have become much stronger after taking K2 Mk-7. I take
something called "Ultra K2 with MK-7" 100 MCG which I buy
from PipingRock.com. I take this about 3 times per week.
Because taking Vitamin D-3 supplements may increase your
calcium uptake, the danger is that may go into soft tissue.
Taking K2 MK-7 will work to get calcium into bone, not soft tissue.

Jasbg, you are so right in what you say. It is important to hold the line on weight as we get older.

My problem in aging is that my desire and love for food as not diminished as much as my ability to exercise. Typically I have been keeping my weight steady by walking. I usually walk about 6 km daily. But aging always throws a curve into the mix. For the past week I have not done my walks. My knee has been giving me problems so I have not wanted to aggravate it. Yesterday the knee felt good after a week of taking it easy, so I will restart my walks today. But I believe I may have gained a pound or two during the last week.

Now if AMRN's stock price could break loose from where it is stuck, I might do some jumping jacks.
