Jasbg, Might I recommend that you can buy Turmeric, Ginger, &
Black Pepper at almost any grocery store in their spices section.
(What I believe really accelerated my weight loss was when I began
taking roughly a half a teaspoon of Black Pepper every day and
swallow it with water. Pepper must be used with Turmeric to unlock
its health benefit...The same goes for CoQ-10.)
For anyone facing AD I would most strongly recommend they
get on Vascepa as there is no other way to get a higher dose
of EPA. Of course, I would hope patients would continue to
eat healthy fish products on a regular basis. I eat mixed nuts
almost every day for the nutrients they provide especially
cashews, pecans, walnuts, almonds, and Brazil Nuts (which
are amazingly high in Selenium...No more than a couple in
one serving.)
