I'm interested in panic selling from good data of many companies...why does that happen?

Actually, a sharp selloff following strong clinical data is pretty rare. More often, the clinical data are not as rosy as the company press release implies, and this can be ascertained by a more than cursory reading of the PR and related disclosures.
