I haven't really used it for myself but I know my friend used it several times.. I use it mostly for rescue animals for things like urinary tract infections or respiratory things. I'm pretty sure that's what they used to give my friend all of the time that had something wrong with her lungs. She always got bronchitis and pneumonia. I think that's what the doctor gave her. But I've only personally used it for dogs. It is also a good antibacterial for dog or animals with skin type infections -bacterial. It works really well in my dogs.

I will say this though. If Doxycycline or Metro don't clear it up, you probably need to go to the doctor. Albon also for dogs. Those are 3 things that I use all of the time and particularly for an animal that appears to be getting down or really infested with bots or infection. If I get an animal that is heavily infested with worms, when I de-worm them I give them a round of antibiotics to ensure they don't get infections. If one or a combination of those 3 things don't clear it up, you need a vet. ( I don't use albon for human beings only for dogs). lol
