What I am saying is - M can give whatever answer he needs to give but it does not stop Biogen or any other pharma from making an official offer. Also if someone makes an official offer, M has to respond officially - accept, reject, counter offer etc.
If M is as strong as Medivation CEO, he can start bidding war.
Sanofi made a bid to Medivation - somewhere $20 when it’s price was $8. MDVN rejected the offer and the offers were increased to $30+ as hostile offer.
At this time MDVN announced auction sale - many companies participated and final offer was $82 or $83 by PFE and $13-14 Billion
