I did see where Bob Jones (before his departure) had set up GTEM for DOD (DARPA) money. Maybe GTEM will get some grant money for itself in 2007.

Recall that LH built the hybrid prototype (P-791) that flew last year (financed by private investors). Walrus was cancelled shortly afterward.

I suspect that LH may continue with hybrid development. There may have been some "arrangement" to that end, .i.e, technology developed in support of MDA passes to the hybrid.
