You seem to forget a few incidents between Trump and Putin. All while shaking hands and smiling at each other.
Remember when Trump rocketed Syria and Russian combatants were killed in the process? Resut: No reprisals by Putin.
Remember when Trump Sanctioned NordStream2? Result: No reprisals.
Or how about Smiling and shaking hands with Xi, while putting tariffs
on trade with China? Result: The beginning of better trade deals.
You and others denigrate trying to be friendly, while at the same time standing up against an adversary. I call it Machiavellian, while you call it kissing their ass.
The major difference here is Trump got concessions from adversaries, while Biden keeps giving them to adversaries.

I agree that the election wasn't "stolen", but that does not negate the fact that Trump did not agree with storming the capitol.
