No a company doesn't stop taking investor calls unless they are actually about to go out of business. So that's a non-starter notion. They are not revealing anything that we don't already know.
As for a timeline, they have provided timelines on other points. They have given an event line for the release of TLD, and clearly it hasn't happened yet and is in the hands of third-parties. I think they are likely working around challenges with that event line, but I could be wrong. They have explained that depending on other parties during this time, third-parties, is problematic because of COVID and that's just tricking obvious no matter that people claim they can't understand it. That is just a failure to deal with reality.
Long before others were speculating that TLD would be much sooner, I was saying it all depends on certain guidance being finalized, and that guidance was never finalized. Again, a third-party, and not jut any party, their main regulator. I believe the regulator also told them it was fine to proceed with the SAP change, and an application, likely. But the policy arm of that regulator is moving so slowly that apparently even the oncology arm of the FDA felt it necessary to publish their own thoughts on the subject of external placebos in a private journal, just to keep things moving.
So I think they likely had to find another route to getting published, and that likely includes a focus on just moving forward with their approval. That is not the ONLY route, but the other routes are likewise dependent on circumstances and third-parties that make them more or less practical - depending on circumstances at any given moment. So you go down the most obvious route and hope that an earlier route opens up. That's what I'd do. I doubt they have just been sitting on their hands all these months waiting for a publication, though possible, it seems to me an unlikely circumstance given other facts that we know which have progressed quite far, like certification for manufacturing for the UK Specials program. I could be wrong, it's all speculation, but the focus on manufacturing, at least to me and a few others who used to think as I do, suggests they are likely further along in the application process than it might seem from the long quiet period on TLD.
And your posts are unclear as to what you're saying or not saying. All IMHO.
