I've never felt sanctions would hurt Putin's military. And can't recall any other person suggesting that either.

I can imagine more missiles and bombs falling more quickly on Ukraine though, if NATO became more directly involved.

I honestly feel more NATO involvement right now would mean more death and destruction in Ukraine, more quickly.
