People are afraid of WWIII, Nukes and Putin..
Rightfully so
Question is do we let that fear control us or do we control it...
I was scared on every base jump I ever went on (135) You make a plan for that particular object, you practice in your mind, go over your gear, make sure conditions are favorable and you've looked over the terrain for any outs in case something goes wrong...
The fear only builds as the jump grows nearer....But every single time...When you dangle your toes over the edge, look out over the horizon and know that your about to go,,The fear dissipates, goes away completely and you execute...
Soldiers and leaders during times of war must go through somewhat the same thing....
This is not easy, its hard, but that's we we judge ourselves by in the long run, how we handle the hard choices....
