Your labeling all those who don't agree with your more aggressive position at this time as being controlled by
fear is questionable. It's an easy position to take, but common sense could be a more determining fact for many.

I'd guess those making the decisions in the West as to the best way to proceed are open to all options. And not stilted by fear.
