I told Kasey Cundy years ago (remember him, he got banished from the board by admins, I think his handle was Savage_69 or something like that) that the day you say you’re walking away means we’re extremely close. No offense, you’re one of my favorites of all time, but that is just how micro and small cap investing goes. The biggest bulls sour and that’s the capitulation sign. It doesn’t have to be at the end of a down leg, sentiment just has to get to the burnout stage for the longest and loudest believers.

Flipper, i have observed over the years you go through one of these down cycles and after you chill out and think things through you’re back on the upswing. This is just another of those moments so I suggest you lay back and this time not over think it. I believe TLD/ Publication is still their number one priority as per their PR but likely other parallel plays are being lined up to support share price on the heels of TLD.

It would be a tragedy that you being the top contributor on this board would capitulate at this last hour and after all these years. As I said you’re just tired and so are many of us but step away rest of the winter for R&R.

Can you name the last PR that truly was a surprise? Usually, someone on this board figures something out. Then a couple of days later a PR is issued. It would be pretty hard for anyone to prove and LP gets to reward her longs. The perfect crime.

Why is the night always darkest before the dawn?

Why do we grow fearful, unsure, and lost at times despite our accumulation of knowledge, experience, and the like?

No one can foresee the future, yet the doubt that creeps in your mind is more irrational than the hope you feel towards what could be.

Take a break from this for a little while. You've been in it for years, why lose your conviction a yard before the horizon has been defeated?

Flipper,

I truly hope that you'll at least keep a small position. I believe that if you do, in time you'll find that it's worth a nice multiple of what you had invested. I also hope you'll stay in touch and let us know what you're into.

In the grand scheme of things Flip, consider those that actually deal with the $hitty disease on a personal level.
Look at the long fight that Matt Henkel (and many others) put up and all that he went through and that his widow and kids are still goinging through.
I truly believe that this is a battle. It's a battle for patients, their families/loved ones and unfortunately, it's a battle on this side as well.
Above anybody, you have done your DD and need to trust ALL that you have immersed yourself in and had the patience to share with others.
This is a therapy that saves lives and is a game changer...it's that simple IMO. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be so damn hard!!

Flipper, I also wonder when it is time to give up on this company as an investment as this management seems to take steps a little (a lot) slower than seems reasonable. Back in 2013 according to LP we were on the home stretch and she estimated 18 months ( just an estimate) to results. So many dangling carrots since I watched her say that. Guess she really could not say it would take a decade and expect to keep any investors. Consider Sir P's exit strategy of selling a set amount of shares each month over the next 6 months - then have a way out should the seemingly never ending story continue but also have some chips in the game to 'stay tuned' as we are 'almost there' and the results will be 'soon'. These all seem to be different words in 'nwbo time' than in my engineering world
Imo there has been some progress and still clearly believe in Liau and ucla and believe it works for some and will work better with combination therapy, but I also pay attention when she says it does not work for all and thus they (ucla) have other research programs ( some without the vaccine) to try to help those with this awful disease.
Before the October 2020 pr nwbo had said the work by the statisticians word take 'a few weeks' and later said 'a couple weeks'. If we are to believe those estimates then nwbo should have had final results by late 2020. At the least imo nwbo should give an update as to where they are in the process. Many say this is normal but in my years of investing I have not seen such an example and no one else seems to be able to show a similar example.
Good luck with whatever you decide and your contributions over the many years are appreciated

flipper44: I hear you.

As you objectively state, there have been several indications of L PIII results release over the years, and as of today still no official final release.

In addition, I agree with you that they have known the L PIII results for likely a year or so. The fact that they decided to release the TLD with journal publication further puts the trial results on a timeline outside NWBio's control (due to the journal review and publication process).

There have been all kinds of opinions and theories posted on this MB why the above occurred. This coupled with the fact that there are ways to update shareholders on progress and status without making binding committments adds to the frustration.

I value the contributions you have made to this MB and they have helped me create my enterprise value computation from all of the realistic possible outcomes that I have attempted to quantify. Currently, my computation is still greater than my investment and minimum attractive rate of return.

As a couple of more months pass without trial results revealed, I will have to increase the probability of the trail failure scenario in the computation, and then determine my actions.

I consider the key factors to watch right now are revenue generated from the Sawston specials and warrent conversions to buy more runway. Without a BO/partnership announcement, a capital raise will likely be needed before the repayment of the last financing (repayment starts in July timeframe).

The above is JMHO and I fully understand that each investor has to make the best decision for their situation.

Peace.

Nah, you will be back after thinking it over. You care too much about the patients.
