What is this DCVax-Lung that bears tried to create panty ruffling about?

Is there any relation?

Danish- thanks for a perfect example of my thesis just posted. I was looking to hear the last word on this recent ex critique - you have just posted that.

My original post said nothing at all about the UCLA trial and if that trial used DCVax-L.

I said the patent is for a broader coverage than just DCVax-L, it would cover any similar DC vaccine. You reply by saying I am wrong, UCLA is using DCVax-L.

TDD, you are absolutely correct. Over the years, experience with DCVax-L has been gathered treating hundreds of patients. This includes many patients who were not in the P3 trial.

It is absurd to believe that for both arms of the combo trial, a new modified autologous dendritic cell vaccine would be employed. To my knowledge, no data has ever been released as to the superior efficaciousness of this mysterious new or modified vaccine.

Utilization of DCVax-L in both arms of the trial is conclusive evidence that the UCLA combo trial investigators have plenty evidence that the vaccine (DCVax-L) has mucho efficacy. The shorts are therefore desperate to prove that the vaccine is not DCVax-L.

Two things to consider:

(1) we’re about to receive a patent on the treatment of glioblastoma using a combination of a check point inhibitors such as Keytruda and a dendritic cell vaccine in which dendritic cells are pulsed with a glioma antigen;

(2) the trial description website explains that another name for the ALT-DC vaccine is a dendritic cell-pulsed tumor cell lysate vaccine.

Would be quite odd if the trial was using something other than DCVAX as NWBO would have protection over that combo. I can’t see other companies funding a trial for which they won’t ultimately control the product.
