Not sure, but may involve tooling for a run of chips meeting certain specs.
Accept order, tool plant, run chips. Not sure how many runs can take place concurrently, or how long a run takes...how long tooling takes. How PDK fits into the process.

Guess is that tooling is based on PDK (template)

I believe it to be their new product innovation cycle. Just like in consumer electronics, many companies try to time their product introductions around key industry events like the annual Consumer Electonics Show in Las Vegas.

Global Foundries, as an example, stated that their new products are normally introduced in the March and June timeframe. Not sure what industry events may surround that just yet.

Beyond that, the foundry cycle also could mean retooling their machinery to adopt new technology - precisely why Dr. Lebby is now working on the PDKs - Process Development Kits. This means that LWLG is actively working under NDA in the re-tooling phase to incorporate the Goo into products in my opinion. They have also disclosed they are working with mulitple foundries.

ERP systems have software offerings that help many large companies manage and perform Product Lifecycle Management, where requirements differ by industry on tracking the development from one version to subsequent versions of a product. This allows for product introduction, commercialization, and sunsetting of products to occur, and for subsequent improvements to be later incorporated during a products life cycle. Companies also will be tracking for all their customers which customers are on which versions of a product, in order to market/promote, and manage the roll-out of subsequent improved versions of a product.
