This is a very important point about Friday. Oral argument represents an opportunity to essentially have a conversation with the Judges about the case, where they ask the questions, and the lawyers are expected to answer the questions.

Through this process, we should be able get clues about which way they are leaning, although every experienced appellate lawyer will tell you that the feeling from the oral argument is not an absolute guarantor of the result. At the conclusion of the argument, the Court will most likely reserve decision, and a decision will most likely be forthcoming in a few months, although as we saw with Amarin's original appeal, they were Rule 36 denied the very next day.
