Susan Bayh was on our BOD. I would say it is related. Schultz got many DC swells to invest in Theranos. It was influence that they bought. Most companies do it. I am not pointing out that we have a crooked company that Theranos clearly was.
Any military contractors have on there boad ex admirals, generals or senators. It is about influence.
