I read through the changes on CT.gov for AVATAR and was puzzled that it claims that the study completion data [Actual] is 9/31/21 even though it also says they were still adding sites and recruiting in April 2021.
The study runs for 7 weeks with a 48 week OL extension, that would take more than 1 year for a participant to complete. So, if they did start anyone on the study in April 2021, how could it have been finished in September 2021?
Something does not add up, unless they added sites to the study but no one was recruited at that site; or otherwise perhaps the dates in ct.gov are not correct. They clearly say the trial was finished in September 2021, but how could new recruits have finished? So it seems at first blush that the reporting in ct.gov has some inconsistencies.
