PR will contain barebone top line data signed off by a company representative. The journal will contain a deep dive signed off by physicians/researchers leading their field.
To say a PR is the same equivalency as a journal manuscript is nonsensical.
Many believe essentially simultaneous announcements will happen during non market hours. So reading it from one source or another won’t make much difference to the general market or current investors. Best wishes.
