I'm sure they run all major decisions by their lawyer. Should be no reason they can't cancel the split...companies do it all the time.

What else are they going to say? They have already told us they are running things through their lawyer. They are not going to disregard whatever counsel they get - otherwise they would have just DONE IT without further delay.
