This kind of speculation has happened with many drug companies as they move along the process with nothing happening until it does. And numerous biological related cos, especially the cell therapy and cell drug manufacturers, less so car-at which got a huge media boost, have generally taken years and years longer than anticipated many yet to get there.
The notion that in this instance, given where they actually are absent certain FDA process improvements still pending, it will take years and years more is just laying it in thick like happens in every other drug company board in a similarly longer than expected process. Except things actually do happen, and after they do, the same people take the next milestone and imply that will “never happen”, until it does, at which point they start over again as if they never said that the last milestone would not happen, as in GMP Certification, as in Data Lock, etc., etc.
One can only cry wolf so many times. Granted, you think that this process, people speculating is the same, except it is not. Too many people and institutions are involved for this to just disappear into silence. It’s a great negative narrative, but I just do not see that as likely at all. Not in the least.
