I understand your sentiment. I did care, but the new republican party taught me one thing, they do not give a shit about anything in America. I was 10 years old when I heard JFK, say, Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
America and the entire world has been learning how to deal with this pandemic.
Pandemic's, something so many President's have feared would happen, and this one finally did. But instead of doing all you can to just get vaccinated, Republican's have used it as an excuse to be a part of their platform.
So maybe another million, maybe two million Conservative's, or anyone who is not vaccinated will die before it is all over.
Again I don't give a shit, they have stolen two years from me, and at 71, that is a lot. Sure I have had three shots, will probably get another before this pandemic is over.
At times I wear a mask, but it always hangs around my neck wherever I go anyplace. Luckily two months ago I got my hernia repaired with a mesh. Now elective surgery is put off until the New Year. Why because the hospital's are filling up with unvaccinated covid patient's, just in time for Christmas.
Like my buddies and I have discussed when I went to visit all of them, there are four of us, we have been friend's since we were 15, and we have all survived everything life has thrown at us. Life is about surviving, you might have problems that will never leave you, but you deal with them and move on. I plan on moving on, 800,000 American's did not make it, maybe another million will die, they died because they were stupid.
