I will be the one laughing if/when NP and possibly others are indicted for securities fraud.
Will shorts be indicted? Who knows and it doesn’t really matter. Why? Because the indictment of Citron won’t help CYDY a bit. That’s in the past. But if the SEC/DOJ cleans house, leronlimab may have a chance at getting to market.
Sorry, SEC does more than one investigation at a time. The shorting issue is not related to what Cytodyn reported in their 10K report.
Cytodyn reported that it was specifically related to Cytodyn's clinical trial reporting for the COV trials, public and FDA communications and management trading around the trial data reporting. The SEC and DOJ will dig much deeper as there are plenty of other stock fraud and insider trading to investigate.
