"I think that the country won't vote for a Jewish candidate for president at this point. "

----------------

We are less than 2% of the US population. (even less of the world)

I assume you're a New Yorker (My grandfathers were born there in the late 1800s) so it looks different to us, but many people in America have never met a Jew. When my father was stacking wheat in Colorado after WW2 nobody could believe he didn't have horns or that his buddy Angelo wasn't carrying a stiletto.

The country is that way still. When they say "coastal elites", when they say Rothschild, when they say Soros... it's important to know what they're saying.

Its a hard perception to beat, socialism, and you make a good comparison in how it is used in politics or not used in a description and depends on for what and why...

Me personally, Ive never gotten Anti-Semitism thing, I will plead being naive.....Growing up in a Christian country Americans were taught they were our friends and we would protect and honor them.....

Trumps dog whistles have inflamed the few to act out, it gets a lot of coverage and rightfully so, I try to draw the line at stereotyping as I would for any other group...

Count down to Ukraine, not going to speculate but we will see...I do know the US has stated it will not send ground forces in and has a contingency to get Americans out...

Between you and me, this is just the type of confrontation that the US should have the will to fight as opposed to say Iraq.... If we let the Russians have it, its because we squandered our military capital in the past....

(Its more complicated than that but if we were able to stand strong willing I think the Russians would back down and America would be seen more for what it stands for as opposed to an Imperialistic perception that grows)
