Stock futures are opening moderately higher. Crude also.
My second comment was more along the lines of "the economy is going to hell lately." Most of us don't mind paying more for some items, but when large pharmacies are out of essential meds... that's worrisome.
BTW, took wifey out to dinner. I get the same steak at this restaurant several times a year. Strip steak, with salad and baked potato was $22.99 for many years, a bargain. A few months ago it went to $24.99. Tonite it was $31.99.
As an investor, I worry A LOT about cracks and distortions in a bloated financial system
