This is a series of false narratives which you throw out without any evidence or context. And your rhetoric presumes things that are likely incomplete assumptions thrown out simply to belittle accomplishment. Cost is not the arbiter of a breakthrough’s significance. How much did it “cost” for the young founders of Google to come up with an algorithm that conquered internet search. Probably not much more than some classes, a few semester of food and rent and some laptops and computers. You need to prove these points, not just throw claims on the table.

Contract manufacturers have thrown millions at similar problems and not solved them. Just like internet companies before Google likely spent hundreds of millions or billions before the two founders of Google came up with a simple algorithm.

I do not see these points as being vaguely truthful or insightful.

I missed this/your post earlier. The survival for SOC at five years is 5% or less. Under the new definition for GBM, it could drop to 3% or less with current SOC. Tumor treating field proponents claim to raise 5 year survival to 12% or 13% (under the old definition), but they didn’t gather mature data to prove it (even ex agrees with this). They extrapolated highly censored data. Garbage in garbage out.

As far as your other point about “stalling out,” that’s water under the bridge. (Your cost analysis is way off, BTW. There were other interim grants.)

It makes it sound like it is something that it is a well understood issue with traditional chemo therapies.
That is not correct Curve.
Pseudo progression does not typically occur with traditional chemo therapy but is a new phenomena being experienced with immuno-therapy. Progression with chemo is viewed as the chemo treatment is ineffective at thwarting the tumor. Progression in immino-therapy can initially be enlargement of the tumor or the tissue around the tumor due to the cell from your immune system attacking the cancer cell ala "pseudo-progression".
