Good deal, gotta be nice having the kids close again,,,I bet they are enjoying it too :) Christmas is coming too,,,,Grand kids? Thats the best part of life when they come along...
I can't imagine prices for land and housing like that but again, MA has been populated since the very beginning... Whole different animal...
People were never resentful of educated folk in the past...They followed them throughout the history of our country,,,,,,They wanted the best brightest in power and running the country. They were willing to follow....Maybe even their own kid would become pres one day,,,At the same time its ok to want a simpler life...And its not ok to have the education etc and look down your noses at folk...
People do put an emphasis on education here, one problem we have is tax base,,,So the better the neighborhood, the better quality education now days...Big cities work the same way, but they have better tax bases by far than rural...
People still leave here and have quite successful lives Sox, we aren't another planet, although it seems that way from both perspectives sometimes...
The big cites end up keeping the newest for themselves, why, be cause they can...No sense in spreading the wealth....
So what's good for the big cities is not what good for rural areas, problem comes when city folk judge them, insult them by how things are in say Boston.....
New technologies are coming, as we phase out coal mining, toss them a bone, they kept the lights on in the big cities forever...Its not that hard but those cities want that wealth for themselves...Just like I was saying people think folks in NYC want it 'all' from everyone, everywhere....
All I really know is things are getting to the tipping point...Its been building for a long while and all people are doing is throwing more and more fuel on the fire.....
