You're smart and Articulate 13
(more so than I)
The divide in the country, especially when you see the voting maps, is strictly Urban v Rural.......Rural being Trump country, thats the misunderstanding....
I took the post I responded to as a slight (Although I am more than used to it around here ;) And responded as such more to show how the rural areas now view the urban..NYC is at the top of the list..Old saying in these parts, I can call my cousin a dumbazz but nobody else better...And no one likes to be maligned, so apologies to you..
NYC is 'the' business center,,,
What we can't continue to do or should I say they,,Is the profit at all costs that Friedman started and Business adopted...It damaged this country severely...I called it the NYC business model only as an example of how rural people feel about it (they have no clue who Friedman is)...Furthermore they also (rightfully so) see it as the financial hub that's allowed to do anything and get away with it, ie 2008....
Jews are not part of the equation except for maybe white supremacists..
...............
How folks feel in 'Trump Country'
Critical thinking skills lead us to the decline,,,,And all along the way they insulted and talked down to those they learned to get more profit from....And its ?now at the boiling point....Its that simple...Other critical thinkers have only been interested in cultural issues...
So both parties ignored the working class the last 50yrs till Trump came along and conned them with MAGA...Now the RW plays to them and is even inciting....
People in rural America are hugely leary of 'critical thinkers' after the last 50yrs. They are still out there insulting them and in turn they have quit listening to them....Till the rhetoric slows down, its not going to get any better...
Noted you understand Texas and Louisiana ext,,,Thats another subject, one I have first hand knowledge of...'Right To Work' is a red herring as I'm sure you know...
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
