You misunderstood me. I'm characterizing regions that supported Trump as populated by people who lack critical thinking skills.

So, yes, that might include where you live, but it also includes Staten Island (NYC), parts of Queens (NYC) neighborhoods in Brooklyn, and various nearby commuting suburbs.

I'm not maligning where you live, I'm sure it's lovely - as you did NYC - I'm maligning the character of people who can't bother to seek information outside of their cultural bubbles, wherever they live.

p.s. - I've never heard of or read of a NY business model, as you phrase it. Friedman was an economic advisor to arch conservatives like Reagan and Thatcher and didn't even live here. So, I"m wondering if you mean Jewish by NY since it really doesn't otherwise make sense.
