JL said many things including Vascepa could sell itself etc etc. But he was very clear and announce in this group that he bought a PUT just in case things didn’t turn out the way he felt it should. It’s the only time after many years in this group that he hedge, so kudos to him

Bomber. JL stopped posting on IHUB 9/14 ..hope he's doing OK

Re his posts . He was , as we know , very right on re the benefits of EPA in reducing CV risk ...thats undisputed .
Re his market forecasts on sales , the course of the Covid pandemic etc ..obviously wrong .
No one is correct all the time and we should not expect them to be .

My only criticism re JL's posts was that he did not notify the board that he was selling roughly 60% ( FM ) of his AMRN right before the Judge Du decision.
I believe he acknowledged that sale in the days immediately after that drop in PPS .

I personally think he had an obligation to post when he was selling since he was always posting when he was buying ...and encouraging others to do likewise .

Of course posting a sale goes against the grain of the uber bullish posting that takes place on most of these IHUB boards .
Most seek the perceived safety of confirmation bias ....

Happy Turkey day to you and your family

I stand corrected. I lost interest in the board after the stock tanked and didn't follow JL's waffling. I sure remember his "it'll sell itself" mantra and the fact that he believed the study would produce excellent results. Without his prodding I never would have kept buying the stock leading up to the study's release so he deserves much credit.
I just sifted through some of his posts and here's part of his post on 2/10/20 #245742. "Most likely scenario is judge supports Amarin...and holding your position was the right decision. My situation is a little different because I could just sell all my shares and be in a financial position where I would be in excellent shape financially if I lived to be a hundred and fifteen...I have never believed in taking some off the table...never believed in diversification...but this is the exception...because I can cash out and never worry about money ever again...On the other hand if I held all my shares and the judge (god forbid) gives the decision to the generics this is going to tank the stock and IMO would seriously hurt Amarin." I also recall him saying his health was another issue as to why he'd decided to cash in. Obviously he changed his mind.
