Not imo...And its a big mistake to make it so (imo), like calling everyone stupid, people quit listening....
The south's economy was based on slavery later on,,,the North's was not, nor was the early colonists, it was based on indentured servitude from Europe... Building a commercial enterprise out of the wilderness required labor and lots of it. For much of the 1600s, the American colonies operated as agricultural economies, driven largely by indentured servitude. Most workers were poor, unemployed laborers from Europe who, like others, had traveled to North America for a new life. We keep trying to make a more perfect union, we've come a long way since world colonization...We will get there unless we run out of time and hate boils over..
Perhaps keeping to MLK and leaders screaming and demanding no violence will to keep further trouble from happening at protests...It worked for him and he became one of our greatest leaders of all time.....
