Rittenhouse was a vigilante, he protected zero property, he's a disturbed, little fucker who beats on girls and thinks he's a tough guy.
Of course the North's economy was built on slavery, at least partially. Where do you think that picked cotton was shipped to and made into textiles? And where were the banks that loaned the plantations and slave ship owners money?
