Shame. I've met him several times and had dinner with him once. He is extremely bright and personable. I figured he would be one of the heads on the chopping block as BIIB would have been better off to just do a third 'tie-breaker' trial rather than push for accelerated approval and end up with a commercial flop.

Too bad he “overlooked”, or better yet lost) AVXL’s drug for a possible promising treatment of MS. Maybe his “warmth” couldnt quite bring Dr. Missling to the bargaining table….thank God!
