I think we need to stop reading to much into the VA election. Since 1980 the only time the Republicans didn't lose both NJ and VA Governor races the first time they won the Presidency was in 1980 when Reagan was POTUS. The means HW Bush, W Bush, and Trump lost both a year after they were elected the first time. Conversely Biden is the only Dem that didn't lose both NJ and VA races. Clinton and Obama both lost VA and NJ the first time they were elected.

Fair enough on your getting the bare fact on the schools matter correct. That said, while i acknowledge that of yours you could acknowledge your fact most certainly only occurred because of Youngkin's cheating misrepresentation of CRT and the teaching of it in schools.

Also, some suggest it wasn't a backlash by parents as much as a backlash of white people.

So while it's fairly commonplace election victories are too often won on false pretenses, it's still a real shame the Republican victory actually yet again rode the back of Youngkin's fraud re CRT.
