I am not sure that announcing a tie-up by Global Foundry with LWLG is a hugely significant pre-IPO benefit to GF. LWLG gains the most with the validation of their technology with a foundry in tHE PDK approach. For Global Foundry it is just publicly playing their hand, and I feel they will surely determine the best timing - I hope it is very soon.

I am not an industry veteran here so my opinion is nowhere near worth 2 cents - has no value at all...but I have enough skin in the game to enjoy chatting.

I think your "premature to announce" is correct.

If they had something "now" they would have talked about their future growth with polymers in their roadshow, and we'd have known about it.
