When they did my gall bladder a few years back, they went through my belly button, small scar on that one. Last month when they did the hernia, Inquinal hernia, it was robotic surgery, and they do just three small incisions, one for the camera, and the other two for the mesh.

Just like when did they my stents, a small incision in my groin for one of them, and the other was in my wrist and into my heart for the other stent.

The lung surgery was through my back, and that was, what I call being filleted. That scar is huge, and will always be with me. But these later surgeries are done with small incisions, hardly noticeable. Thou my belly button looks weird, and I do have two other scars on either side.

I feel so much better, am also glad my insurance is good. Even this last one was 5-7000, not quite sure what my insurance actually paid, but my cost for everything was less than $ 600.00. well worth the money.

I had a pretty large one fixed a month ago, they did it with robotic assist. The three little incisions healed within a week. My belly was sore for a week or two, but now all is back to normal. The amazing thing was that the bill was $65,000 but I paid zero out of pocket, Medicare with a supplemental policy.
