I never said 30% inflation "per year".
I think it was pretty clear I meant 30% over the 5 year period....or 6% per year. You will never get accurate inflation readings from anything connected to our corrupt government, but there is a plethora of anecdotal evidence that would suggest 6% or higher is probably the case.
I think that a +30% return on a stock/cash portfolio while holding 50% in cash on average is pretty darn good.
Time frame is relevant though, don't you think? I'm sorry but I strongly disagree if if that return is over a 5 year period. If we are talking about a 1 to 5 month time frame, that would be more acceptable.
Otherwise you are wasting your time and your money.
