I noticed that as well. He gave short shrift to Clinton's tax hikes that laid the groundwork for the economic and stock market booms, and the resultant budget surplus.
Also, I think he actually slants right as he didn't mention hardly anything about republiqans. He sure doesn't like dems.
Obama followed through on Bush's TARP and the auto bailouts because, no f'ing choice. If the banks and the auto industry had gone under, an economic depression was a certainty. And then there was the $700B Stimulus.
If Hedges was right about the middle class, then how did both Clinton and Obama earn 2nd terms?
