Hi All, everyone should read the HoundLabs paper and take a glance behind the curtain.
Here is a direct quote: "All breath and whole-blood cannabinoid measurements (THC, 11-OH-THC, THC-COOH, CBN, CBD) were done using previously published and analytically validated LC-MS/MS methods."
They used a mass spectrometer. That's not the same thing as using their device. This paper does not contain any evidence that HoundLabs has a fully working device.
Further, the UCSF trial they refer to on their website came from this paper. Not done with their device.
They also never show how their device is really supposed to determine recency of marijuana use.
Cannabix claims to be able to detect THC as well as metabolites, which is more than Hound, and would provide better recency of use information.
