So here's an EZ version of DD that you can read at your leisure regarding the tech's. I'd like to know if anyone can reasonably explain the simplicity of a 7 page patent document versus the complexity of an 80 page patent document? The simplistic patent took nearly 6 years for patent approval. The complex patent took less than 3 years for patent approval. On the face of it all, it's reasonable to assume one tech has more I's dotted and T's crossed. Thus, it seems to me the more complex document has moved a lot further towards monetizing it's claims. However, monetizing an approved patent is another matter unto itself.
Here is a direct quote: "All breath and whole-blood cannabinoid measurements (THC, 11-OH-THC, THC-COOH, CBN, CBD) were done using previously published and analytically validated LC-MS/MS methods."
They used a mass spectrometer. That's not the same thing as using their device. This paper does not contain any evidence that HoundLabs has a fully working device.
