What has not been established on this board but needs to be is, What is the definition of ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS? To my way of thinking, ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS would be a material announcement of definitive clinical trial data or a multi-million dollar collaboration with a major pharmaceutical company that would represent an inflection point that would drive the stock price and market cap substantially higher in a way that would be durable. Anything short of that standard seems to me would fall short of ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS. By that standard, another patent filing, the appointment of another director or executive, another conference presentation or you name it, might be considered interesting or notable but surely not ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS. So again, I think ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS should be defined as significant material news that drives stock price and market cap meaningfully and permanently higher (putting the current stock price in the rear-view mirror for good).
Conversely, if ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS is defined as anything below the standard of an inflection point that drives stock price and market cap significantly and permanently higher, which seems to be Georgejjl’s definition, then yes, we should expect ABSOLUTELY GREAT NEWS next week and every week thereafter.
