Understood, but it is my understanding that these might not be MOC trades. I don't think that they are MOC trades. In my opinion, if they were, they would move the market by more than a penny. These are accounting entries for firm to firm trades that took place during the day at prices that are not disclosed. I worked at a public company for 14 years that had a low float. Whenever institutional investors wanted to buy or sell large blocks, they would make those trades directly through a market maker and those trades would not show on the tape during the day. I think that is what we are witnessing here everyday.
