Not to go off topic but I have a question. Obviously you know much more than I do. You must be a scientist or biologist.

The pills i am talking about are IOSAT Potassium Iodide Tablets 130 mg. Indication says :Thyroid Blocking in a Radiation Emergency. Then it states "In a nuclear radiation emergency radioactive iodine could be released into the air. KI protects the thyroid gland from uptake of radioactive iodine. KI should be taken daily until the risk of significant exposure to radioactive iodine by either inhalation or ingestion no longer exists"

So does this only apply to a nuclear bomb and not a dirty bomb?

PS: If so, Thank God I only spent 10 bucks for the 14 tablets.lol
