I hear what you are saying but ...

NWBO does not have these people on its payroll.

Perhaps not directly, but they are indirectly paid out of the CDMO fees that Advent receives from MWBO. Can you tell me with certainty that those fees, negotiated between Linda and Linda, are as low as they could be and not perhaps 50% or even 100% higher than what some other CDMO might negotiate at arms length? I am sure they are not tenfold out of whack, too obvious, but 50-100% more, who knows? Do you? With what certainty?

Bio, you write very rationally, but I think you are missing a couple of basic points.

First, if there are other investors putting money into "Advent" as a company with a future aside from its contract with NWBO, they certainly expect this company to become a worthwhile investment for them.

Second, what is the big picture of funds going into Advent from both these other sources and from NWBO. What is the ratio of their "contributions" to Advent? Are they only putting in a small (token) 5 cent out of every $ that goes into Advent versus say 95 cents out of every $ coming from payments from NWBO? Perhaps it is 30/70 or maybe 60/40 but I doubt highly it is 95/5!

Unfortunately this is info I have not yet seen. Have you? This could put a different perspective on who is really funding who.

But Advent does not own anything they are building

good grief
they are millions of business WW that do not own the property they are occupying. Manufacturers, plants, shops in shopping malls do you need more examples. Year-round many properties are rented out turnkey and then invested in heavily by these businesses although they don't own that property. I thought you had years of business experience?
The only difference with these businesses WW investing heavily in what they lease from the owner to conduct their business in and Advent is that Advent does not pay rent to NWBO for Sawston because wink wink the CEO of Advent knows the CEO of NWBO. Same with the leasing of equipment such as trucks, cars Flaskworks equipment, biotech equipment, machinery etc.

The value of a high-impact knowledge business such at Advent is determined by its revenue/profit and its clientele most and foremost and second by its highly educated and trained staff able to service those clients. Whatever knowledge process NWBO has leased out to Advent Im sure is now well learned by Advent staff.

Im sure Advent will be very successful thanks to NWBO.
