I have detected some very staunch $SAVA investors too who see the trial results with bias tinted glasses.

Its very common and quite difficult to avoid unless trained in or practised at understanding statistics and data presentation (tricks).

The putative SAVA/AVXL share price linkage.

...data on the 50 subjects, from 9 months to 12 months, showed very little change. One of the 50 improved, that's all.

Well, those Aduhelm infusions, now in clinical (not trial) use seem to be really working. Two percent, one in fifty, getting some improved symptom numbers. Pretty impressive?

Nope. How, then, can AVXL somehow be positively connected to SAVA. What’s the “coattail” connection? If anything, at least for a while, the emerging Aduhelm therapeutic results, minute as they are (and will be), could, in fact, cause the unknowing to further determine that nothing can effectively treat Alzheimer’s. Aduhelm, soon enough, will show that it doesn’t work. Consequently, blarcamesine is fated to the same ignominious destiny, it might seem (to those who don’t know the biochemical differences between the two drugs).

Until, of course, final read-outs appear from the three on-going clinical trials of blarcamesine. First, soon enough, will be what happened to the girls with Rett syndrome, taking blarcamesine. There exist quite remarkable, exceptionally positive early data; the final read-outs will be even better.

Then, the results from the Parkinson’s disease dementia (PDD) study. Those will build on, magnify the very positive results in the Rett study. Two CNS diseases being successfully treated by blarcamesine; like no other drug, both in efficacy and safety. With the Rett syndrome read-outs the AVXL share price will steeply ascend, leaving SAVA (finally) in the stock investment dust. The PDD results will, finally, bring full attention to Anavex and blarcamesine; all positive.

Then, the Alzheimer’s read-outs.... Let the reader discern. At some point in all of this, the putative SAVA/AVXL share[ price linkage will evaporate. Probably sooner than later.

And Cassava's public disclosures of results have been conspicuously sloppy and incomplete, and the recent one's not much improvement.
