4.) Higher recoveries [cumulative oil production]. IF, and it is a BIF IF the reservoir is Oil Wet, then cumulative oil recoveries are on the order of 20-30% higher on primary recover than non-oil wet reservoirs. The reason is the water is the carrying agent for the oil just like a secondary recovery water flood. What is necessary is to pump the well at the highest rates possible.
