You put out those when your result is questionable. If you are sitting on certain stat sig results, you wait for results. If there's just a slight chance you could be the new SOC, you wait until all the heavy artillery is in place (Journal article in this case).

I believe LP is doing the right thing and I also believe Innes doesn’t have a clue what’s going. I think even he is in the dark and walking a right rope of saying just enough to feel relevant without saying the wrong thing.
