This really sounds like a company "highly focused" on releasing results, pedal to the metal. It's just amazing to me that there are people who still think this is going to turn out well, even as the company is telegraphing in the most overtly obvious way that this whole thing is a complete disaster - a total failure. They have been telling us this for years now - not with their words, but with their actions.
Their actions could not be more transparent. They gave up on this trial. They have moved on to new ventures, the biggest part of which is becoming a CDMO. I mean, what else could they do to make it more clear they are not releasing these results? How long are people willing to sit around waiting for something that's never going to happen? And if it does happen, it will be a simple quick-dump TLD statement that puts an end to this mess while simultaneously announcing the Sawston certification.
And what is this issue with RCT data? Why would NWBO not produce RCT data? I thought all of the data was fantastic, game-changing, new SOC stuff, so why would they not use RCT data? I thought the interim data released in 2018 proved everything was a slam dunk?
Anniversaries abound.
We about 1 week from the 19th anniversary of when the current P3 was first posted on the US trial registry.
We are 1 month from the five year anniversary of when it was last updated.
We are less than one month from the 6 year anniversary of when the MIA P2 Direct trial was last updated.
Oh, and the one year anniversary of LG's last appearance on the Big Booze show when he said they were looking at results be end of the month.
Eventually when all possibilities of raising cash are extinguished, we'll likely learn LTS had everything to do with the patient's unique system and less with any one kind of vaccine. All started with that decade plus old trial criteria.
However, there is no universal characteristic feature that can explain the entire group of GBM LTS as of now. A new approach that has not been tried to investigate the topic is expected to unveil the secret explaining the unique group of GBM LTS.
DCVAX trial 2018: The surprising part was that the 100 ‘extended survivors’ don’t appear to have the usual characteristics associated with a good prognosis. We are continuing to study these patients to understand why they have done so well.”
