I had a great afternoon with DaSun on Friday. The smoke was not that bad in Truckee, relatively speaking. The winds mean the smoke levels vary day-to-day, hour-to-hour by location.

We went here for lunch and ate ~OUTTside on the picnic tables. After 3.5 hours sitting ~OUTTside, we both noticed that our eyes burned from the smoke (which again was a RELATIVELY mild smoke level) and our skin felt grimy and in need of a warshing.

You can see the relative level of smokiness by looking at the background trees. This is DaSun's backyard looking uphill. You can see the trampoline.


This is looking downslope from the trampoline. That is the shack DaSun and his housemates live in. The weights, bench, and squat rack gets used by them every day. In winter, they move it inside into the garage. That is my old weight set that I gave him. Some pieces are getting a bit rusty because they leave them outside so much. It is his squat rack and bench so I don't care about those.
