Dont forget there was an illegal major dump via Cor's clients years ago.
The company allowed and enabled it. It instructed the TA to issue the hundreds of millions of shares in question to be issued using the old CUSIP. Which meant COR and, to a lesser extent, Alpine were on the hook for large unexpected payments to DTC.
Nobilis, Beaufort, and Macallan sold that stock into the market, though it wasn't all the stock they had. There's no way it could be removed from the market. And that is hundreds of millions of shares.
I don't know what happened to the stock--or fractions of notes--they still held when FINRA halted trading. The TA ought to have some idea, though.
