Even if the conclusions of that paper were accepted by a scientific review board, please explain why the end effect:

1 Tesla Fire every 205Million mi
1 -ICE- Fire every 19Million mi

Your study even points out in the References section that “Tesla’s catch fire less than gas powered cars”.

These numbers tell us li-ion takes us to a better place than with gas powered vehicles.

My conclusion of that paper: It is much less likely induced currents will cause a battery fire compared to present day gas powered vehicles.

Now how many of those 8 accidents started due to EMF induction.

Answer: ZERO

Do you have a conclusive summary from any investigative authority saying an ON ROAD vehicle was a battery fire likely due to EMF induction ? Ofcourse you don't....
